She worked in Michelin rated restaurants, was a contestant on Top Chef, Athens, has won many culinary competitions and has been awarded "Best Greek Restaurant in Miami" multiple times. Alexia continued her education at "Florida International University" while receiving multiple scholarships. At 26 she opened her first restaurant in Greece and in recession she accomplished to add 2 more units and a commissary. She returned to the US and worked for a Global corporate company where she run 20 profitable restaurants to educate herself further in restaurant systems. Bhavana who comes from an Indian background and born/raised in Chicago, had a vision with BHAV to use South Asian textiles in a way that felt contemporary and elegant.
